The Flâneries Musicales de Reims association has been bringing classical music to life in the region for over 30 years. Every year, its festival, seasonal concerts and activities at the university hospital, prison and nursery schools enable over 25,000 people to marvel at the finest works in the repertoire.

THE FESTIVAL
The Flâneries Musicales de Reims festival is an unmissable musical rendezvous for young and old, music lovers and the curious in search of new emotions.
The presence of numerous French and international artists ensures the diversity and excellence of the program, making it one of the most prestigious events dedicated to classical music.

30 concerts - 20 venues - 400 artists - 20,000 spectators

THE PICNIC CONCERT
The closing event of the festival, this symphony concert, the only one of its kind in France, brings together some 15,000 people every year in a convivial atmosphere, where families and friends share a picnic on the grass.

OUR COMMITMENTS
Young Talents
Supporting the next generation of musicians means giving momentum to initiatives we develop specifically for them: the Happy Flâneries, where young performers find an intimate space to express their musical personality, as well as providing support for the young artists featured in the festival program, to whom we open iconic stages and a loyal audience. By guiding them at this pivotal moment in their careers, we help bring to the fore the musicians who will write the classical music history of tomorrow.

Reims Musical Stroll Awards

The Young Talent Award is open to current students or alumni under the age of 25 from the Reims Conservatory. Selected through rigorous auditions, candidates present their work to a professional jury that evaluates their artistic potential at a pivotal moment in their careers. The winner receives financial support to aid their development, as well as a spot as the opening act for a concert at the festival’s next edition. This prize provides a real boost to young musicians carving out a path for themselves in the classical music world.

Young audiences
Introduce tomorrow's audiences to music from an early age with Petits Flâneurs concerts.

Access to music for all
Reaching out to audiences who can't come to us during the festival, raising awareness of classical music among different publics.

CULTURAL INITIATIVES

Convinced that classical music should be accessible to everyone, the association has been developing numerous projects and partnerships around the festival for the past 15 years. The Reims University Hospital, nursing homes, the children’s home, the youth center, and schools are the primary beneficiaries of our initiatives: concerts, workshops, musical storytelling, and choral singing lessons. We make concerts accessible to participants of Cultures du Cœur, the Salvation Army Foundation, Secours Populaire, and the children of the Foyer Saint-Remi.

More than 3,000 people benefit from these projects every year, so let’s keep it up!
