Young Artists: Nurturing the Talents of Tomorrow

Les Flâneries Musicales de Reims supports young artists at various stages of their careers. From the intimate setting of the Happy Flâneries to the festival’s concerts, the organization provides them with professional opportunities, new visibility, and the chance to connect with an attentive audience.

Happy Strolls (New for 2026)

From fall through spring, the Happy Flâneries series offers a regular musical event in Reims. These evenings showcase young performers in an intimate setting that encourages listening and interaction. They allow artists to develop their musical identity and introduce audiences to a variety of repertoires in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Young Talent Day during the festival

Every summer, one day of the festival is dedicated to young performers. In 2026, four recitals were held one after another on July 5 at Villa Douce: Jean Nadrigny, Vincent Amir-Tahmasseb, Jérémy Zhiqian Lyu, and Elian Ramamonjisoa. The audience can attend the entire day or choose a single performance, all in a venue particularly well-suited to recitals.

The Reims Musical Strolls Award (New in 2026)

Created in partnership with the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Reims, the Prix des Flâneries supports a young talent affiliated with the conservatory. For its inaugural edition in 2026, the competition was open to instrumentalists, chamber music ensembles, and opera singers who met the criteria outlined in the rules.

The winner receives a grant of 1,000 euros and the opportunity to open for a major concert at the festival. This two-pronged support combines practical assistance with a pivotal performance experience.
