Born of a multicultural Transylvanian heritage, Liviu Preda began his musical journey at the age of five with the Cor Celest children's choir. As a soloist and chorister, he took part in several albums between 2003 and 2008.

He began studying the violin in Romania and soon gave his first national and international concerts with the Allegretto string ensemble, performing at prestigious venues such as Esterházy and Eisenstadt.

At the "Sigismund Toduță" National College of Music in Cluj-Napoca, he won several prizes in competitions such as the J.S. Bach Competition-Festival and the Sigismund Toduță National Competition. He continued his higher education at the "Gheorghe Dima" National Academy of Music, where he obtained a degree in instrumental performance (violin), studying under Dorina Mangra and Cipriana Gavrisiu.

Thanks to an Erasmus scholarship, he continues his training at the "Gustav Mahler" Music University in Austria (2020-2022), where he perfects his art with Anna Morgoulets and Carmen-Aida Soanea.

Recognized for his talent, he received a scholarship from the Sighișoara Academy and attended masterclasses with Adelina Oprean and Vladimir Lakatos. He also joins the Romanian National Youth Orchestra, where he enriches his orchestral experience under conductors such as Cristian Mandeal and Alexander Sitkovetsky. He performs at prestigious festivals such as the George Enescu Festival and the Vara Magică Festival.

Since 2018, he has collaborated regularly with professional orchestras, including the Orchestre de l'Opéra de Reims, Camerata Sinfonica Austria and the Satu Mare Philharmonic, while exploring chamber music on stages in Austria, France and Romania.

Settling in Reims, he continued his apprenticeship with Elsa Grether and deepened his French music repertoire with Pauline Warnier and Jean-Louis Delahaut. In 2023, after graduating from the Reims Conservatoire with an advanced diploma and the congratulations of the jury, he decided to specialize in Baroque violin with Valérie Robert, exploring this rich and complex musical universe.

Liviu Preda continues to evolve as a passionate artist, committed to excellence and musical exploration.
