Description of the association

The Flâneries Musicales de Reims association is a major player in the classical music scene. It offers a year-round program that includes a festival, a picnic concert, cultural and outreach initiatives, and its “Happy Flâneries” season.

The Flâneries Musicales Festival in Reims will take place from June 18 to July 10, 2026, with a picnic concert on July 18, 2026.

Job description

As part of the existing team, and in collaboration with the production manager, your responsibilities will include the following:

Cultural activities

  • Draft and implement the schedule for the various stages of the project (e.g., roadmap, request for quotes, scheduling appointments).
  • Help develop communication materials for projects in collaboration with the communications manager.
  • Explain the association’s artistic programming to its target audience (cultural events, festivals).
  • Assist with budget and administrative oversight related to projects.
  • Evaluate and analyze the impact of the actions taken (project review).

Production

  • Coordinate and draft concert schedules in collaboration with the technical team, the safety manager, the venue, and the artists.
  • Coordinate and book transportation, lodging, and meals for the artists.
  • Manage equipment and instrument needs.
  • Monitor the production budget and handle administrative tasks (quotes, purchase orders, agreements, etc.).
  • Get involved in the association’s activities (attend concerts, events, and team meetings; assist with welcoming the public).

Working conditions / Remuneration

- Full-time fixed-term contract (35hours/week) 6d/7d
- Group 9 step 1.
- Evening and weekend work required.
- 12.20€ BRUT/hour (1850€ BRUT/month).
- Utility vehicle provided for travel.

Profile required

  • Knowledge of the music industry
  • Writing skills, spelling, and grammar
  • Organizational skills, the ability to plan ahead, and the ability to synthesize and analyze information
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Teamwork
  • Availability (evenings and weekends during the festival)
  • Class B Driver's License (required – you will be required to drive company vehicles)
  • Proper attire required

Job Requirements

  • Full-time fixed-term contract with flexible hours (35 hours per week), 6 days a week (during the festival).
  • Group 5, Level 1
  • Evening and weekend work
  • €1,992 gross per month
  • Vehicle provided for travel
