In the 2024-2025 season, Edwin Fardini will play Achilles (Guilio Cesare) at the Théâtre national du Capitole de Toulouse. He will also perform the role of Don Giovanni at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in David Buckley's opera "Oracle", at the Nouvelle Opéra de Fribourg. As Anténor (Dardanu) and Dieerstein in "Walpurga Nacht", he will take part in a tour with Alexis Kossenko's Ambassadeurs, featuring solo bass parts in Mozart's "Requiem" at the Opéra royal de Versailles.
Nominated in the "Révélation Artistique" category at the Victoires de la Musique Classique 2023, he was a member of Génération Opéra's Class 23/24. He won the Prix Voix des Outre-mer in 2021, as well as the Prix Révélation Classique 2019 from ADAMI.
He was a student in Élène Golgevitch's singing class at the CNSMD de Paris, where he has produced engagements with prestigious orchestras and institutions. He has already worked at Milan's Teatro alla Scala (Paris/Romeo et Juliette), Opéra national du Rhin (Heerrufer/Lohengrin), Opéra Zuid (title role in Il Signor Bruschino) and Opéra de Fribourg (title role in Guillaume Tell).
He has collaborated with numerous orchestras, including the Orchestre de Paris, the Orchestre national d'Île-de-France, and the Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg, among others. His performances also include the Festival Les Athénéennes in Geneva and the Festival de Royan.
In 2016, he was a laureate of the Fondation de l'Abbaye de Royaumont, then received support from the Daniele and Nina Carasso Foundation, as well as artistic explorations around Gustav Mahler.
His work was recognized at the Académie du Festival international d'art lyrique d'Aix-en-Provence in 2017, and in 2018 he founded an ensemble with renowned artists for a concert at the Fondation Singer-Polignac.
