- Arisa Fujisawa, piano
With great finesse and a true sense of musical narrative, Arisa Fujisawa takes us on a journey that blends the magic of the French repertoire with the deep emotion of Polish Romanticism.
Ravel’s Sonatina, clear and delicate, opens the door to a vivid world, before“Scarbo,” an excerpt fromthe famous*Gaspard de la nuit*, displays all its virtuosity, shifting between shadows and flashes of light.
She will continue her recital with Debussy and the dreamy tenderness of his legendary*Clair de lune*, the radiant energy of*Les Collines d’Anacapri*, the dazzling brilliance of*Feux d’artifice*, and finally the vibrant energy of *L’Isle joyeuse*, which takes on an almost orchestral quality under her fingers.
The program that Arisa has put together herself concludes with one of Chopin’s most famous works, the Sonata in B-flat minor, Op. 35, known as the “Funeral March,” in which dramatic tension, sombre meditation, and virtuosity intertwine. There is no doubt that these pieces will reveal their full poetic and expressive power under the fingers of this highly promising young musician.
