WSKOV, "Wageningse Studenten Koor en Orkest Vereniging", is a mixed choir and symphony orchestra made up of students from Wageningen University in the Netherlands. We give four concerts a year and rehearse every Tuesday evening with our conductors Frank Adams and Dennis Broeders. The orchestra generally performs classical symphonic works, while the choir sings a varied repertoire in a multitude of languages. In addition to rehearsals, we also organize numerous activities to strengthen the bonds between members of the association. As our motto says, we've been "making music with friends, and friends with music" for over a century, since our foundation in 1919. Every two years, we go on a concert tour abroad, where we share our love of music in another country and create wonderful memories. This year, our "Tour de France" will take us to Reims, Lyon and the Bergerac region. To kick off our tour, we'll be performing at the Concert Pique-Nique des Flâneries Musicales de Reims, which we're really looking forward to!
